STARS of the X Factor - including Northern Ireland's Eoghan Quigg- are on security alert following a hate-filled rant over a charitysingle for British troops, it was claimed today.
Omar Bakri sparked the alert after claiming the award-winningshow was anti-Muslim.
In a recording on the internet Bakri hit out at Muslims whoplanned to sell the show's charity single Hero, or who give out orwear Help for Heros armbands.
According to the tabloids today, the Syrian-born Muslim saidwearing the armbands in support of British troops in Afghanistan wasa form of "muadaat (hatred) and had "dangerous implications."
